DFSA has had a busy Spring! In addition to our informal parent-teacher social at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, we were thrilled to host the 2nd Annual Para-Professional Recognition Event. DFSA hosted breakfasts at each of Dover’s five schools to celebrate all the hard work and dedication that our school district’s paras show our students every day. Whether children require a full-time para or just a little bit of extra support, our district’s para-professional team are there to help and guide.

Thanks to all the parents that donated items for the breakfasts. Special thanks go out to DFSA Steering Committee member Jamie Willett for organizing the entire week’s festivities.

As part of our para celebration, ChildLight Yoga donated two sets of Yoga 4 Classrooms Card Decks and one certificate for a Yoga 4 Clasrooms Professional Development Workshop, a total value of more than $220. Winners are MJ O’Neill and Lorraine Lord for the decks and Lynn Ivey for the workshop. Congrats!
